Short version: Learn African Countries does not collect, store, or sell any personal information. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier if you allow it.

1. Information We Collect

Learn African Countries does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information about you. The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Your best quiz streak (a number)
  • Your last selected game mode (a preference setting)
  • Whether you have purchased the Remove Ads upgrade (a true/false flag)

None of this data ever leaves your device or is accessible to us.

2. Advertising (Free Version)

The free version of Learn African Countries displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the following in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy:

  • Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), if you grant permission
  • Information about ads you have seen or interacted with

When you first launch the app, you will be shown Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads and will not use your advertising identifier for targeting.

You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone.

Purchasing the Remove Ads in-app purchase disables all third-party advertising entirely.

3. In-App Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store any payment or financial information. Apple's privacy practices for purchases are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Children's Privacy

Learn African Countries is designed for general audiences including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app itself collects no personal data, it is safe for use by children. Parental guidance is recommended when enabling ad-supported features on devices used by young children.

5. Third-Party Links

The app does not contain links to third-party websites beyond the ad content served by AdMob.

6. Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data to secure on our end. All data stored on your device is managed by iOS's standard app sandbox security model.

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
